Design, functionality and sustainability join together (in a ‘soffio’)A living space created from an eco-sustainable perspective, the result of a long design process that has designed a unique product: Soffio is a group of seatings made with recycled and recyclable materials with design at its forefront. A passepartout piece of furniture whose structure in plywood supports the soft cushions filled with a fibre made from recycled material. In addition to the vast range of textiles and fabrics in the catalogue, there are two new proposals dedicated to a low environmental impact, which perfectly match the conceptual and aesthetic characteristics of Soffio.

The elegant and understated Jane bench features a padded seat and a slim, dynamic structure with metal or wooden feet that make it perfect next to a table, at the foot of a bed or in hallways. The bench makes up part of the broader Jane collection, which includes several padded elements.

The top, with a thickness of just 35mm, can reach lengths of up to four meters thanks to internal tension, allowing the collection to effortlessly adapt to any space, from compact domestic settings to more spacious professional studios. In the Wood version adds an exclusive touch to the collection. The prominent veins, the textured surfaces, and the warm tones of the wood make each table unique, giving warmth to the environments. The refined yet essential profile of Tense Material Wood allows it to harmoniously dialogue with a variety of styles, while the possibility to include up to two top-access panels and under-top cable trays makes it an ideal choice for use as a desk or workstation.

Grand Relax is a luxurious reclining lounge chair combining outstanding comfort with compact dimensions and a classic understated aesthetic. The exceptional seating experience offered by this chair stems from the harmonious interplay of diverse elements and its conception as a leather-upholstered furnishing. High-quality covers in leather or fabric encase the soft seat and back cushions, which sit loosely on the lounge chair and snugly envelop the sitter. When sitting down, the user sinks slowly into the cushions, while a concealed integrated mechanism absorbs the weight and moves the chair into a reclined position. The seat and backrest move independently in synchronised motion. A control knob can be rotated to adjust the resistance of the mechanism, and the backrest can be locked at any angle. Mounted on an elegant four-star base made of aluminium, the lounge chair can be rotated 360°. A matching ottoman is available as a footrest or additional seating option.

Fauteuil Direction is especially suited for dining room seating or as an armchair in home offices. The design reflects Jean Prouvé's characteristic aesthetic vocabulary, which is based on structural requirements.
