Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec created this expansive armchair by using an extremely strong, precisely shaped knit which is stretched over the metal frame like a fitted stocking. Thanks to the knit sling cover, the Slow Chair combines soft comfort with ergonomic support, which is further enhanced by thin seat and back cushions. 

The Let™ Lounge Chair by Sebastian Herkner and Fritz Hansen embodies the German designer’s excellent skills and signature aesthetic, with Fritz Hansen’s expert craftsmanship and quality. Charles Eames and Eero Saarinen created the Organic Chair in 1940 as part of their entry for 'Organic Design in Home Furnishings', a competition organised by the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The small reading chair offers superb comfort, thanks to its comfortably upholstered, biomorphically shaped seat shell, and is also available in a version with a higher backrest: Organic Highback.

Charles and Ray Eames spent many years experimenting with new techniques for producing three-dimensionally moulded plywood seat shells that conformed to the contours of the human body. They achieved this with the chairs in the Plywood Group, which have matured into classics with an appearance that still looks contemporary today. For the Plywood Group, they also combined the seats and backs with different bases. Thanks to the organic shape of the plywood shells and the slightly flexible backrests, these light and compact chairs offer great comfort – also in the versions without upholstery.

The Plastic Chairs by Charles and Ray Eames are among the most important designs in the history of furniture. Following their initial presentation at the 'Low Cost Furniture Design' competition organised by the Museum of Modern Art in 1948, the chairs were launched on the market in 1950 in an armchair version (A-shell) and as a simpler side chair (S-shell) – making them the first ever mass-produced chairs made of plastic.
